Attending the 14th International Conference on Bioscience, Biochemistry, and Bioinformatics (ICBBB
2024) at Kyoto University in Japan was an enlightening and enriching experience. The conference, held
against the backdrop of the historic city of Kyoto, brought together researchers, scholars, and professionals
from around the globe to share cutting-edge developments in the fields of bioscience, biochemistry, and
bioinformatics.
One of the highlights of the conference was the opportunity to engage with leading experts in the field.
The sessions covered a myriad of subjects, from groundbreaking research on genomics to innovative
applications of bioinformatics in healthcare. Each presentation showcased the dedication and passion of
researchers striving to unravel the mysteries of life at the molecular level.
Networking during coffee breaks and poster sessions provided invaluable opportunities to connect with
fellow attendees. Conversations ranged from the challenges of interdisciplinary research to the potential
collaborations that could emerge from shared interests. These interactions not only expanded my
professional network but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among participants who share a common
passion for advancing scientific knowledge.
In addition to the academic program, the cultural excursion allowed participants to explore the rich
heritage of Kyoto. Visiting historical landmarks such as Kiyomizu temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha offered a
welcome respite and added a cultural dimension to the overall conference experience.
In conclusion, ICBBB 2024 was not just a scientific gathering but a celebration of the collective pursuit
of knowledge. The conference provided a platform for intellectual exchange, collaboration, and inspiration.
As I reflect on my time in Kyoto, I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this global community
pushing the boundaries of bioscience, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. I look forward to applying the
insights gained and contributing to the continued advancement of these dynamic fields.

I had the privilege of attending the 14th International Conference on Bioscience, Biochemistry,
and Bioinformatics (ICBBB) held in Kyoto, Japan from 12 to 15 January 2024. The conference
brought together leading researchers, scientists, and practitioners from around the globe to
share their latest advancements and findings in the fields of bioscience, biochemistry, and
bioinformatics.
During the conference, I had the opportunity to present a scientific poster entitled
"Characterization of Chicken-Derived Antibodies Against Snake Venom Ovophis
makazayazaya". The poster highlighted our research aimed for producing IgY and neutralizing
scFv antibodies using chicken and phage display technology as an sustainable and
economically favorable method. This study is crucial for developing novel antivenom therapies
and enhancing our knowledge of alternative antibody sources.
The scientific community at ICBBB 2024 expressed considerable interest in our research.
Attendees appreciated the innovative approach of using chicken-derived antibodies and
recognized its potential impact on developing more accessible and efficient antivenom
treatments. Engaging discussions ensued, fostering collaboration possibilities and stimulating
further avenues for research in the field.
Attending ICBBB 2024 provided an excellent platform for networking and collaboration. I had
the chance to connect with fellow researchers, exchange ideas, and explore potential
collaborations with experts in related fields. The diverse perspectives and experiences shared
during the conference contributed significantly to the enrichment of our research.
In conclusion, participating in the 14th ICBBB in Kyoto was a rewarding experience, providing
a global stage to showcase our research and connect with like-minded professionals. The
positive response to our poster presentation has fueled our enthusiasm to further explore the
potential of chicken-derived antibodies in combating snake venom, contributing to the
advancement biotechnology field. The insights gained from ICBBB 2024 will undoubtedly
shape the future direction of our research and contribute to the broader scientific community.

From January 12 to January 15, 2024, I had the privilege of attending the 14th International
Conference on Bioscience, Biochemistry, and Bioinformatics (ICBBB 2024) hosted at Kyoto
University in Japan. The conference served as a vibrant platform, bringing together a diverse
assembly of researchers and academic experts from around the world. This essay recounts my
immersive experience, exploring the intellectual discourse, groundbreaking research, and

Equally enriching were the networking opportunities provided during coffee breaks, lunches, and
the dinner banquet. These informal settings allowed for meaningful interactions with fellow
researchers, creating a conducive environment for knowledge exchange. Engaging in discussions
with experts from diverse fields not only broadened my intellectual horizons but also established
connections that may prove instrumental in future collaborations.
In conclusion, the ICBBB 2024 conference was a priceless experience that transcended the
confines of a typical academic gathering. The opportunity to connect with global experts, explore
groundbreaking research, and engage in collaborative discourse has left an indelible mark on my
